hey, i have set my iphone up just how i like it, but im noticing lag when i click on certain icons/apps etc, is it because i used bosspreffs to transfer my fonts and stuff across to the other partition, all the apps i have isntalled or all my sources that i have (i added one source / installed one app that added 94 sources i think)

it isn't worrying me to much at the moment, but i wanted to know if i can factory jailbreak it, like when i got it from the guy in the U.S, is it worth doing?

or if i uninstall all the crappy sources ive added will that help?

i am not keen to mess with it as i have no other phone in case i can't fix it for a day or two, but im just wondering if there's an easy way to save my contacts and just have installer.app / my austrlaianising settings on my phone?

if not, because im BL 3.9, whats the best way to wipe my phone and restore/jailbreak, and re-unlock it?

im guessing it was probably a dodgy set-up to begin with.

the only reason the iPhone starts going slow is because its either go some sources on there that a dodge (really hard to figure out which ones and uninstall because they weave into software everywhere) or coding is wrong from initial jailbreak/activate/unlock. people use methods in some funny ways so can easily mess up iphone.

best way to fix it all.

simply connect to itunes..make sure you make a back up of your phone (click sync near the bottom...should say in status bar "backing up iphone" (if you wanna be 100% sure it backs up go into preferecences and click backups, should say iphone name and date when it was last backed up)

then follow my guide. that will wipe iphone, jailbreak, activate and unlock and australianise

when you have completely finished guide down to the last step, connect back to iTunes and when it recognises iPhone click "restore from backup"

your phone will be as good as new with all contacts, sms and all the other stuff (notes, weather preferences etc.)

and thats pretty much it...will be good as new, should take all of 20 minutes. try not to install to many sources this time lol =D

cheers LOL i want to uninstall all that arent community, is there a way to ensure i have all teh community sources intact if i unintstall this "all sources" pack?

would having summerboard, and a leopard style theme with custom BG stop it from working?

also just an note, ill be writing a review short on the Invisbleshield, 8/10 roundup

nope that shouldnt stop it from working. might have something to do with the loading of items which sometimes make it a tiny bit slower but if you notice speed difference then its something deeper.

its just GUi differences really, you know, like i tap home, it takes a second or two, sometimes it takes longer, i mean it isn't a major thing, like my comp when its overloaded and i start to notice it ill format cheers!
