I've a search but don't seem to be to find what I'm looking for. All of a sudden this morning my iphone stopped being able to make or receive calls. I haven't updated it. I purchased through ebay a month or so back unlocked and is still on 1.1.3

the message which appears is
Repair Needed. iphone cannot make or receive calls, please contact apple.com/support.

I've tried another sim card and it doesn't work. Bluethooth is now "unavailable" and when I try to enter Wifi, the touch screen doesn't recognise my touch!

have I "bricked it" somehow?
Help!!!!

Please
can happen sometimes when unlock isnt done right even after you phone has been working for a bit.

doesn't sound too bad .....
So do I reset it? Restore? Unlock again?

yep. just follow the guide i posted in the guides section on ZiPhone Jailbreaking/Activating/Unlocking + Australianising and you should be right.

Cheers for that

I'm just sitting down now to go through the process as per your post. (Currently just waiting for itunes to update to 1.1.4 then restore the phone). Another quick question, I've just noticed that the battery indicator reads empty (red), and although it has been plugged in for at least half an hour the indicator doesn't seemed to have moved. like it's not charging. Is this something I should worry about?

might have something to do with the corrupt baseband but probably just needs to be charged more.

when charging it says longer in the red than any of the green parts so takes about an hour or so to move.

it should be right.
