i just want to make sure teh AC adapter won't be putting too many volts into the iphone, wouldn't want to spend 800 bucks on a fried iphone...

i have the adapter/plug for my macbook laptop, hoping it will fit the iphone adapter.

im trying to avoid using

also, regarding charging, what is recommended when i open it? a good 14 hour charge then usage? or is it ok to use OOTB (its been unlocked already).

Cheers

hey man.

the macbook adapter works perfectly with the iphone charger. just click it together and plug into the wall

also probably best to charge it for atleast 12 hours. when i first got mine it had a bit of battery left but that was probably from when they tested back in the factory. unlocker would of just plugged it in, unlocked then turned off and probably didnt full charge it before shipping.
F*CK apple, seriuosly 28$ for the plug! what a rip off!

the guy suggested using any standard 8 shape cord. ill use my mac book 1 for now!

cheers

ill try ebay!
Hi guys,

i have several mac products so i had no problem attaching a spare plug i had the the iPhone wall charger. Mum my on the other had is slowly becoming a mac convert but has just started with an iPhone for herself and my step dad. If you don't want to fork out the $28 for a new plug, do what my mum did and find a good pair of pliers and bend the prongs a little, its a cheap fix and my mum has never had any problems.
thats game! i couldn't do that. ill just get a standard plug from any dick smith/tandy store!
I just use the duck head from my old ipod(3rd gen) and it works perfect.. Just a quick question though is it best to completely run the battery out before charging¿

This is sent from my iPhone.... BOOYA¡!¡ lol
congrats!

thats a good question, i just charge mine every day, i should run it down though... i read somewhere it doesn't matter (don't quote me on that though)
