hi
i have[had] an unlocked 1.1.2 iphone
i acciddently deleted sum vital files[don,t know which]and froze the screen
i can turn phone on and off but screen locked
is there some way to restore without using itunes restore
your help is appreciated

Even when fully bricked(and it sounds like yours is) you should still be able to connect it to your PC, and in iTunes, go to the iPhone screen and hit restore. It will take your phone back to normal and into a locked status, but at least you can use iPhone SimFree to get it unlocked again from there.

with itunes logo on iphone ran ibricker reboot [says phone not bricked] but
screen still locked
need more imput

As mean as this sounds, I don't think you have any other option.

This is a full OS on the phone and you effectively need to reimage it. At the present time this image is not available.

took the plunge downgraded to1.1.1 jailbroken but simfree spat the dummy
seems to work except the phone. ibricker can,t find it
any ideas ,,,,,,upgrade to 1.1.2 again? stealthsim?
