how do i use the internet on iphone without doing EDGE or GPRS, i have wireless internet connection at home here, but it wont log in? do i need a router for my iphone? thanks fellas

You may have already found this out volcom_dude but to join a Wi-Fi network just choose Settings --> Wi Fi and turn on Wi-Fi and Ask to Join Netowrks. Shortly after you should see your network appear, select it and enter your password (I hope your wireless network is password protected 
Once you're connected to a Wi-Fi network Safari will use it to browse.
